How Frog supports Assessment...
Assignments Matrix
This Frog application lets you view, mark and set assignments to your class showing all their work in one place. From the Matrix view, you can look at any class or group and see all their assignments for the specified subject. Teachers can reuse assignments for their own class, set targets and mark against these too. The Matrix view lets you compare how learners are doing across the different assignments. You can even record their hand-ins and lates/absents.
Assignment Monitor
This application gives school leaders a report on all assignments set. You can filter the results or search for an individual (student or teacher) and see the work being assigned, hand-ins and marking.
Reporting
This application allows you to produce detailed group and individual reports for both FrogProgress and assignments. You can see at a glance how learners are coping as well as assignment hand-in rates for both learners and teachers.
My Childs Work
My Child's Work is the parent's view of Assignment Manager. It lists all the assignments for each of their children, orgnanised by open assignments, handed-in and closed. Parents can see when their child needs to complete an assignment by, what they have handed-in and the teacher's marking.
My Frog
For parents, MyFrog combines access to your child's assignments, parent portal and messaging in a free app for Apple and Android devices. Teachers can set assignments and access the school dashboard.
Quizzes
Save hours of marking time through Frog's self-marking quizzes. Questions can be set in multiple formats (multi-choice, free text, fill-in-the-blanks, drag-and-drop etc…) and can provide instant feedback or be set to "Exam Mode".
Google Activity Widget
When setting an assignment, Frog allows you to take advantage of the flexibilty of Google Docs, while managing sharing and classes for you. Set a Google worksheet as an assignment to your class, then provide feedback on their work in Google, but record the marks in Frog alongside their other assignments.
Frog Progress
FrogProgress is a powerful tool to charting learners' understanding of each point of the curriculum. Teachers can see at a glance how their class is doing, where they are struggling and can include evidence to support their judgements. Learners can see for themselves what they need to do to improve. Parents can see this information too.
Rubrics
Frog has been working with schools to create a new tool, which enables teachers to quickly and easily provide feedback on an assignment based on marking criteria visible to learners. Rubrics have been designed to be adaptable, sharable and reusable.
Feedback
This assignment tool takes any Word or PowerPoint document or image and enables a teacher to mark it online on any computer or tablet. Teachers can add stickers, audio comments and learning objectives. Feedback gives students the ability to see the marks for their assignments in context, even at home where they may not have access to Microsoft Office products.
