The class gallery is designed to replicate the functionality of social media websites like Instagram, Facebook etc.
It uses the Site Timelines widget and the Image Carousel widget to showcase work a student is proud of and would like to share.
On the front page, there is also a Site List widget, which lists all the ePortfolios with matching tags - helping to simulate the social media experience. Learners can curate their own galleries, and then like and comment on images uploaded to their classmate's ePortfolios.
The ePortfolio wizard will create and manage the sharing of the galleries for you. By simulating a social media space, you give learners the chance to learn how to interact online, while still in a protected environment. Posts can be hidden or deleted by Staff and Admin profiles, unlike the real-world equivalents.
